With big thanks to our friends at the queries, we're teaming up with the folks from Scandinavian Grace for our first Williamsburg Ghetto Gourmet event.
We're taking over a gorgeous bright loft and studio space just two blocks from the Bedford L, and we're bringing it some yummy Scandinavian flavor.
We'll be getting a tour of the shop downstairs and a special guest performance from a viking poet. There's more details to come. Here's the menu so far:
1) House cured gravlax (salmon) with black bread and a mustard dill sauce.
2) Toast Skagen with a salad of local bitter greens.
3) Finnish Meatballs with smashed new potatoes, vinegar cukes and lingonberry preserves.
4) Swedish Apple Pie with vanilla crème.
